Backyard Entertaining

Set in the middle of the city, a small backyard is transformed into an attractive entertaining space for friends and family. The retaining walls that surround the patio create a well defined kitchen and dining area just steps away from the house. A permeable parking area was installed to capture rainwater runoff from the street. Landscape lighting provides a safe path from the parking area to the house, as well as allowing for patio and kitchen use during nighttime hours.
