Creating a Charming Gathering and Dining Area for Family and Friends
Our tastes and desires evolve over time. An unused pool was filled in to create an area for family and friends to gather and dine together. Retaining walls, walkways and steps were constructed using granite and bluestone to allow for such an area to be created.
A bluestone patio with a granite sitting wall was built to allow space for kitchen, dining and sitting areas. The wooden pergola with bistro lighting helps define the kitchen and dining spaces while creating a more intimate feel.
Enhancing the space with thoughtful Planting and Landscape Lighting
Plantings soften the hardscape and provide color and fragrance throughout the area. They bring new life to the patio as pollinators such as birds and bees are attracted to their blossoms.
Landscape lighting allows the patio to be used well into the evening. New plantings and mature trees are illuminated exposing interesting textures and shadows. Lit pathways safely guide you to the gathering areas.
